Scoliosis

Most manipulative practitioners only talk of leg length differences and it's affect on posture.
Significant differences in leg length need to be considered as it will cause a lateral tilt in the pelvis which causes a lateral (sideways) 'Scoliosis' curve to the spine, with a resulting shoulder tilt and this is of concern but this is usually the lesser problems. The greater problem (as per posture diagram over page) is not generally recognized.

Spine wear, vertebra slippage, disc bulge, nerve impingement, back problems are caused by the instability in the spine from its base, a constantly moving totally unstable pelvis/misaligned lower skeleton.

Severe scoliosis problems are caused by wedge shaped vertebrae either inherited or damaged during growth by vigorous activities such as gymnastics. This is difficult to treat.
